Profit Sharing

Each year the company contributes to each eligible employee’s profit sharing account. Employees who work for 12 consecutive months and have a minimum of 1,000 work hours are eligible to participate during the following plan year. Participants are 100% vested after 3 years of service.


Newly hired employees are automatically enrolled in the 401(k) after 30 days of employment. In addition to the automatic enrollment on April 1st of each year, the employees’ deferral rate will be automatically increased by 1% until 10% is reached. Employees can rollover funds from previous 401k plans as early as the month in which they are hired.

Tuition Reimbursement

We are committed to the ongoing growth and development of our employees. Full time employees, with at least one year with the company, are eligible to apply for tuition reimbursement for covered costs. Covered costs include tuition and fees, required textbooks and course materials.


The Pacific Coast Building Products Scholarship Fund was established to benefit the children and grandchildren of current and retired employees of PCBP. Applicants can be attending or accepted at accredited two or four-year colleges, or vocational schools approved by the selection committee. The award monies can be used for all educational expenses and related items, including: tuition & fees, computers, calculators, books & supplies.
